During patients’ bi-annual exams, our dentists also carefully check for the early warning signs of gum disease, known as gingivitis. If we see signs of gum damage, we treat patients immediately in order to prevent the tooth loss that is commonly associated with periodontal, or gum, disease. The doctors also check for early signs of oral cancer.
